Hi everyone

Hope you are all well, i completed my iva early recently by f&f, the
completion paperworks come through and my name is off the
insolvency register.

I got a voicemail message from someone on my mobile claiming
they are a sister company of mdc and i could maybe get some money back ive paid into the iva, but i didnt call back because as far as im concerned im not interested. Wonder where they got my number from?

As ive been through the IVA process im happy to continue posting
as this forum and everyone on it is what got me through my iva.

Remember an IVA has an end, its not forever.

take care

regards

What on earth do they mean get money back from your IVA. Which company contacted you, and I suppose this is now going to be the latest scam on the block!

Well done to you for completing your IVA.

I had one of those calls...[:(!]

They want you to pay them to try & claim back the PPI you had on your loans/credit cards!

Politely told them I was not interested in their 'service' & to bog off... ![:D]

I'd like to know how they tracked down your number, are you ex-directory or listed in the phone book?
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

We're ex directory and we've had a lot of cold calls for various things. I've heard in the past that BT have sold on customer details. I don't know if it's true, but I don't know how else companies would have got our number as I rarely give out our home number.

One of the many reasons I don't rate BT!
