Fergie - Mercers threatened me with visits no end of times.

If they do come though, you've nothing to worry about - just show them your chairmans report. The person will take details, be thoroughly annoyed with Mercers and go away.

Contact Mels office and let them know.

They do my head in.....Barclaycard obviously not satisfied with the response from me and me not answering my mobile at work, have now taken to calling the work switchboard!!!
They only knew my place of work and were never given a number as I moved jobs after the card was taken out..by all accounts they have rang 5 different departments asking to be put through as a matter of urgency!. I explained I was at work and not appropriate to talk.
To which I was told "here is our number call back this afternoon or we will have to advance with arranging doorstop collections!!"
Thats exactly what I want to hear with my manager hovering around my desk

I'd tell them to 'bring it on' with the doorstep collectors! Tell them that you won't be speaking to them, and if they continue to phone you at work you will be out of a job and won't be able to pay them anything!

Im not in a hurry to call them back- I advised that they were already aware of the situation and it should all be on file- to which she replied they wanted payment today... and needed to discuss again. I said I would pass the number to my Ip and he would call as I am at work till 7 then an hours commute. But they have to speak to ME ....
What I am finding odd is they call constantly- for a fairly small amount.my loan for a much bigger amount which I have now missed 2 payments on with Barclays I havent had a letter, call or anything....im wondering if ive been wiped from the system !!!!

Stressed 1

This isnt on, its appauling and you should be complaining. They are NOT allowed to cause distress and by saying they need to be put through to you as a matter of urgency is going to get tongues wagging.

You need to phone them and tell them to wipe your work switchboard number off their damn screens. Ask them who to write a compliant to and that you will be recording all calls and get names of the callers.

What they are doing to you they could be prosecuted for under the harrassment of creditors act, I would so mention that too.

Its amazing that they get away with treating people this way. They need to be brought to book. The swines.
