Including payment on Wed. I only have 4 IVA payments left. Really think going into an IVA has been one of the best things I have ever done. It has been hard at times but a heck of a lot easier than being constanly harrassed every day. Now looking forward to the last payment on the 1st March. Next year I will have to replace my 12 year old car but not until I've saved enough to buy it outright with cash. Lesson definitely learnt :-)

Well done :)

I am excited about starting mine. It's not an experience I really want to endure but it's something that really has to be done.

I know at the beginning it's going to feel like it's going to take forever. But i'm already thinking of the positives that will be at the end of it.

Again, well done for seeing it through :)

WTG Janey [:)]

Congratulations! on making it so far.

I too believe entering into an IVA has been the best thing i have done concerning my debt. It truly makes you hold a careful budget over spending.

I really can't wait till mine is finally over (i'm trying not to think about it too much , otherwise it will drag on and on and on lol ), just waiting news on variation meeting for a twelve month extension, roll on Feb 2013 when hopefully i will be debt free, wooohooo !!! LOL
All the best,

Regards Daz (webspark)
[:D]

Completion Certificate Received 2nd October 13. [:)]

It is the best thing we have done. At this time in the month we are counting the days to payday, however we both have fuel in the car and food in the house. Before IVA I would still have been wasting money on food we don't need, or driving places that I didn't need to go to have a mooch round the shops. Makes you think twice every time you get your purse out and when I do treat myself it's on something I really want not something that will be slung in the cupboard.

I'm suprised all the magazines are still in business. I could have filled a recycling skip with what I bought each month. Can't remember the last time I bought one - I can read all the celeb news on the internet!

Hi Janey

It is a great feeling when you get to the end. We finished ours 1st of October this year. It is quite strange that even today after 5 years of budgeting I still for some reason bought Tesco value sausages because I didn't want to pay for the full price ones lol. I trully believe after 5 years I have been brainwashed into not spending willy nilly lol.

What a great place to be Janey, well done for finding the courage to finish.
Snoopydog, know where you're coming from, after a year I am still budgetting hard because I know that that is the only way I can have the treats. Hope I have learnt the lesson for the final time[:D]
