I think she's spending some time with her sister and brother in law Julie. I've emailed her this morning to check on her, she hasn't replied yet. X

I've heard from Lily. Her kids have the dreaded bug unfortunately. Also, she found out that Oscar and Morgan have a feline disease and they have had to go otherwise they could have passed it on to the other cats. They will be able to go to another home that doesn't have cats but she's devestated. I have told her that you have asked about her, she just needs some time.

Thanks guys

I am fine, Oscar and Morgan have something like feline HIV, they tested postive but dont actually have aids. Now I am told it could be passed on to my other cats but is very unlikey as my cats are neutered, Ruby is set to be done next week as she is a little bit younger. They said its very unlikely to pass on to the other cats but it could happen and I cant take that chance. I love Cole and Syra so much as I raised them from little scaps of life. The kittens are going to a couple with no kids (as far as I know, ex RSPCA workers). Anyhow the hardest thing is that the children hate me now as I made the decision for the kittens to go but I know if the kittens become ill it would be all down hill and a lot worse for them to see. I just dont want them to see that. So it was a difficult decision but the right one, I think.

Also my kids have been sick with a bug, I had it too but not as bad as they have. So I am washing mountains and cleaning everything. I have thrown away all the cat toys, bedding and scratcy things.

Its been such a ****e time to be honest, first my sisters husband was seriously ill, then my bothers son in law is diagnosed with a brain tumour, we went to his wedding last year. Now this.

So if anyone out there has some positive vibes, send them, we need them.

Love to all and especially to Viki and Ang.

Lily I am so sorry to hear about all your bad news. What a shame about the kitties, but you have made the right decision, no matter how hard it seems now.

I am sorry about your brothers son in law as well. Will they be able to do anything about the tumour? I do hope so. I hope your brother in law is better as well.

Thanks so much.

Re sisters hubby, he is well and trully on the mend, he had a liver infection and turned yellow and almost green.

My brothers son in law, I dont know, he had an operation as soon as they found it, late at night.

As for the kittens I am OK with it now, its a bit of a relief to have made the decision and followed it through. Furthermore they would be at more risk of infection here with 3 cats and a dog than they would be in a family without that, I just hope they will live a long and happy life. I did my best for them and they were happy here. The children will get over it, sometimes life is tough. The thing with animals as all of you know, you have to take the good with the bad, right?

Thanks very much Julie for missing me, that kind of makes me feel tons better.

Dont worry about it though, I am fine, I will make sure the children have a good weekend. Then I am off to the FF the weekend after.

Love and hugs right back at ya all, you lovely people you.

I'm glad your brother in law is on the mend, and I'll keep everything crossed for your brother's son in law.

You gave the kittys a fantastic start in life and they were lucky to be fostered by you. They will be able to live a full life and you know that you have done the best for them and your other animals xxxxxx
