One thing I was told recently, was that Barlcaycard and Barclays Bank arent related. As I was told I could bank with them, if I needed another account, even though my debts where with Barclaycard, Monument, Solutions and Littlewood.

Barclays and Barclaycard are related. One of my debts was Barclaycard and we banked with Barclays and so had to change.

Lloyds TSB is also associated with Black Horse Finance.

We've got a basic account with Nationwide. That's not a bad one.

Nationwide is a creditor of mine (the biggest), all thats left for me is ThinkBanking and Abbey, I have both, but since Think is sorting its waiting times (only waited 7 minutes the other day) and the admin problems im sticking with them for the moment.

Co-op is good as well if they're not a creditor.

An interesting list Skip.

I wonder whether we could compile an 'official' list and have amongst the the resources section on the Forum? I am sure that it would be helpful to people.

I'm just wondering, my biggest creditor is TSB, I have a life insurance policy with Scottish Widows, it just pays out if I die, not worth anything otherwise, will this be affected at all or is that just crazy talk!? Viki X

This will not affect the IVA Viki - so don't worry.
