It is dependent on your income. Obviously your kids will get everything free anyway as long as they are under 19 and receiving full time education.

If you need a lot of medicine for yourself, and you can't get free stuff, you can always do a pre payment certificate. It costs £10.25 a month and you can have as many prescriptions as you like.

It will depend on the amount of tax credits you recieve as to whether you get free prescriptions and dental treatment. If you are entitled you will receive an exemption card, if you don't get a card you're probably not entitled and will have to pay so should put something down on the expenditure to cover costs.

ok wont know till i claim when i leave dont think i would be allowed to claim before i leave hubby even though i have no access to his money :(

Hi,
with regard to free prescriptions, dental treatment and glasses, you usually get them free if your income is under around £14000 pa.
My hubby works full time, i do not work, and we BOTH get free help with the above. Im sure if your income falls below that you will get help.
IVA in 2007 - failed in 2008.
