Hi Clarebare,
Bless you, but being a sufferer of mental illness, I can totally understand were you are coming from.
Well done for going to the GP & no GP will think you ave wasted their time & going for that first appointment. Letting it all out n getting help is very positive for you recovering n getting back on top. The medication does take time to kick into your system & if it does continue to make you feel funny, you might not be on the right type.
Depression is a illness & a very serious one, if not treated it can lead to other mental health problems. Just because you cant see it, it does not mean its not real.
If you think of your brain as a mass of wires that are set in a certain way, when depression or other mental health problems come along, this wiring gets altered & changed. Sometimes it goes back on its own, but more often than not, it needs help getting back to how it should of been.
If your going to be on medication for a while, get a pre paid certificate which covers you for ALL medication for 3 months n cost just $28, you can get one on line.
Well done for getting the help, n dont be to hard on yourself, you have just started your IVA journey n the stress of all of this will be catching up with you, as well has the car not behaving so soon into your IVA.
Things will get easier & keep talking & keep on with your GP, & sorry if I waffled to much!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X
