Hi, if you go and live abroad is it ok to give the companies you owe money to your overseas address? Will this prevent you from applying for an IVA? I read here on the forums that you need a UK address to apply for an IVA. Thanks.

Hi
I believe that you do need a UK address to commence an IVA.Speak to an IVA provider to clarify this

Not necessarily a UK address, but you will need to demonstrate that you have a centre of business interests based in the UK. This could be demonstrated by the fact that all/the majority of your creditors are based in the UK.
