Hi,

Can anyone help and tell me or recommend on personal experience any loan companies that give loans to people in an IVA?
My IP is ok with me obtaining finance to pay off my balloon payment on my car as ford will not allow me to continue paying until the car is paid off!, which seems ridiculous when my account with ford is fine and up to date.
I have been disputing fords decision with them now for some time but my time is running out and this situation is making me ill and affecting my life very negatively.
I also would like to mention that I feel I was ill advised by IP before agreeing to enter into an IVA about being able to continue paying my car off when the balloon payment would be due as this is not the case and i am potentially going to lose my job now if i have to give my car back.

i appreciate any advice or support anyone can give.[V]

I will be surprised if you can find anyone to give you a loan.

If you have to hand the car back you can always get one via this company:

High APR but they are IVA friendly.

Hi Paul,

i hope you have better luck than me as i am having a nightmare with mine. my balloon is only £6392 but i cant re-finance because im in IVA and that is the only reason. My account with ford is excellent but they will not allow me to re-finance with them.

Good Luck Paul
Please let me know if you you get any positive feedback.

Do try Duncton as I believe they also offer car finance on a car you have as well as finding you the car too. We have a car with them and they've been really helpful.

Is there anyone who could take out the finance for you?
