Hiya .... Can Abbey offer you anything...?

If not then maybe going through a brokers can help....i have got a good deal after completing my IVA (i tried all the high streets and just got a big fat NO)... some brokers can search the whole of the market to find a suitable lender for you.

There is Welshboy on here and Leybridge....both would be worth a ring. x

Hi 2u2 As Bagpuss has said, best thing to do is approach your current lender first, if they can not help, some brokers can credit search without leaving a stamp about the search on your file.

Hello 2u2,

Mike's right that some lenders offer a facility whereby the credit search doesn't leave a record on your file.

Also, a mortgage broker who has taken the time to find out all of your circumstances and requirements will narrow down the list of potential lenders to those that they believe will want to offer you a mortgage. It's therefore likely that when the credit search is done it will be with a lender who will say yes rather than no.
