it doesnt seem to matter what animal it is or how big or small, they all seem to have a love and loyalty that surpasses humans.

Hmmm, you haven't met Harry! I look like I'm self harming - his idea of fun is to bite and scratch me and he has a look of pure spite at times! I love him to bits though and I wouldn't be without him.
