I renewed my buildings and contents insurance a couple of months ago with Halifax and was told I would receive a loyalty reward a after 3 months of £50. A bit ironic as they were one of my creditors.[:I]

The money was credited to my account this week. I think I already know the answer to this, but does it need to be included in my IVA as a windfall.
Thanks

I wouldn't think so - you can usually have up to £500 windfall, and let's face it, £50 is neither here nor there.

We have a loyalty bonus from Atlantic Gas and Electricity every year, and I have never declared this.

Thanks Jan.

Money will be very welcome this weekend as I'm 40 on Monday[:X]
Nothing planned, but people at work think hubby is going to whisk me off somewhere as a suprise. No-one there there knows of the position I am in.
I've felt down the last couple of weeks as I don't feel I can properly celebrate my birthday. I have told hubby that I will suspend my birthday until 2014. He will be 50 and IVA will be complete.

I agree with Jan, no need to declare as its under £500.

Good timing, you can treat yourself for your birthday [:)] Good idea to suspend it and celebrate with hubby.....does that mean you'll still be 40 in 2014 [:D][:D]

Happy Birthday for Monday xx

Happy Birthday for Monday Carrie - enjoy having a treat with your money.

How I wish I was coming up to 30 or 40 again instead of staring 60 in the face!

Well the big day is here!!
Thanks for all your birthday wishes.[:)]
Unfortunately I am now in plaster up to my knee after breaking my ankle!!
I went over on my heel on Saturday. I hadn't even had the chance to have a sip of wine, so that wasn't to blame. Just my cluminess.
I'll be in plaster for at least 6 weeks.
Luckily I get full sick pay, I would imagine that for health and safety reasons I won't be able to return until cast is off.
Looks like I may be a frequent visitor to the forum while I am off.

Happy birthday from me too. Pity about the ankle but enjoy your time off [even if it was unintended].
