Hello everyone
Just wanted to post that today I received a letter from DFD with what I think is my completion certificate in.
I have acopy of the ip's closure report and that the insolvency service have advised my details can remain on the system for 3 months.
It also says "Enclosed is a certificate confirming that the IVA has been fully implemented and I know cease to act as the supervisor.

It goes on to say I complied fully with the terms of theand all obligations have been complied with within the IVA.
There is a letter saying notice of completion of IVA

So am I done is this it guys all finished???

Steve

Right so it's not like an certificate you get?
Just a letter about the closure and a copy of the court letter?
Sorry just not sure the certificate should look like

Great news - you have your CC. Best of luck for a debt free future.

Once you have come off the register (check here):

https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/

you can begin to tidy up your credit record.

You might find this quick video I made about cleaning up your credit record useful:

Noddle and Clearscore are also free credit agencies to consider using:

Cheers folks!
Awesome help from all of you!.
I have checked with experian today for the first time and although my IVA is showing on there, my credit rating is 825 so not as bad as I thought I was expecting 0
There is not 1 single debt showing on there, I am thinking there is nothing on because my IVA was 7 years and we are close to 8 years now since I started off so maybe they have all gone from my file because it is over 6 years?

Probably will be as it looks as though all defaults have been removed.

The defaults will have started dropping off at the 6th year mark -- the biggy -- the IVA will also now drop of very soon :-)

In the next few months my file will be clean once the IVA has come off from the insolvency register etc
Not that I want credit it is just nice to see that everything is clean!.

Should your iva not be off also. I thought this dropped off 6 years from start date.
