Dear All:

I have been using this forum for only about 1 week, but I have found it an amazing resource and source of ideas. Many thanks to you all.

My dilemma was do I go for BR or a full and final IVA. I have over 150k of unsecured debt and no assets, but I am a company Director.

I would need to borrow frommy parents around 45k to finance the full & final route, and I have decided that, to go through all of the hassle and turmoil of the IVA, only to then come out theother end with 45k of further debt to pay back, is a non starter. If I have to go through turmoil, I might as well clear all of the debts via the BR route.

Yes the OR will dig, but I am certain there are few "nastys" in my history. I will resign from the directorship, and simply retake it up again once discharged.

If anyone is interested, I will post regular updates as to my prgress.

Good luck to everyone.

Nothing really to add to others comments apart from good luck. I have followed your posts and it was obviously not an easy decision to go BR, but you have put a lot of thought into it so good luck with the whole process.

Hi Andy Mac

Given that you are going through bankruptcy you will need to get your new directors in place so that your company can keep going!

Don't forget bank mandates will be changed! The company banks might require a credit check to be done!
