Went to see mama mia yesterday with the bairn... oh my God its fantastic.. I cried all of the way through it.. If there a must see film this year, this has got to be it..

think part of the tears were me thinking how daughter doesn't see her dad anymore and wondering how she feels.. but she loved it and we had a lovely girlie afternoon eating treats.. used my money off girls from work and treat ourselves!!
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

I must admit that all this Abba mania that's sweeping the nation is bringing out the 'cheese' in me.....in the best possible way[:D]
There are so many of their songs that you just sing along to without even realising.....
One of the music channels had a mama mia day and all of us in the house were singing at the top of our lungs....god knows what the lass next door thought....[:I][:0][:I]
I'm sure your daughter will be fine, Ang. Kids are resiliant and she knows she can always come to you if she needs to.
It's nice to be back......

Hi

Funny you should say that about the Abba songs. There was a song I loved called the day before you came, yonks ago and I had forgotten about it. I went searching for it last week as I dont have it anymore.

My Daughter loves musicals and stuff like that, she wanted to see erm, Johnny Depp, one, the name esacapes me but everyone said its very dark and not nice.... Sweeny Todd. Mamma Mia might be a good one to take her to then?

I have to say Ang, that people singing along in the cinema is my idea of hell!

Mind you, I very rarely go to the cinema anyway, usually wait till they come out on TV.

Last time I went was to see Matrix Reloaded.

I'm more of an ageing rock chick me!

I do like some musicals, but they tend to be the really old ones.

Ang, everyone in the cinema including me and my friends got up at the end and danced![:X] I went to see in on stage for my hen night so I was worried that the film wouldn't be up to scratch, but it was FANTASTIC wasn't it. I want to go again! X
