Ang ... I think that Andy should get a placard ... you know like the one that the taxi driver has when you come out of the airport. He should wave it around with "Frugal Friends" written on it. People will think we are a branch of the Women's Institute or something!! [:D]

Melanie, We think you may very well have worked this one out (has there been a little detective work here?).

Nice one about looking out for our 'colleagues' that has brought a smile to all our faces at NED-CAB and no doubt one to yours and possibly a 'wry' one at that.

Well done !

Hi Andy

I did post it earlier in the thread, not sure if you saw it or not. Just wondered about a meeting in Leeds at some point, what do you think?

Hi Andy,

Just to let you know that is now unlikely that we will be attending the Frugal Friends Meeting tonight as planned.

We have a little problem with transport due to nobody wishing to drive.

We have checked the train times from Chesterfield Station and believe the 5.18pm would drop us off at the Manchester Picadilly Station just allowing time to get to the Brittania Hotel for 7.00pm. The problem is that there does not appear to be a train to get us home tonight.

If we don't make it, we hope you all have a good time and it will be a case of 'another time, another place' we are sure.

Yours Sincerely

NED-CAB Debt and Money Advice Team

Andy, mrs skint and all that are going to the frugal friends meeting tonight. Have a great eevening and fill me in later. I wish I could have come but hubby has a rare night off and would sulk if I go out, also as above trains are a pain, you best all get to the birmingham one for me in April.

hello Andy and others
have thought about this long and hard but have decided not to come and say hello tonight.have not got the confidence to meet lots of new people face to face yet.forum feels safe because I'm not real here!!!.I was tempted even if just to meet Mrs Skint...I'm sure her company will be hugely enjoyable.Have a lovely time.Cat
