Does anyone know how Marbles tend to vote???? Is it possible to carry on paying the minimun payments (with help from a friend) until the IVA is hopefully successful?? Thanks [:)]

Hi Chabybeeks!

They are generally quite receptive to voluntary arrangement proposals - so long as the proposal is presented accurately. A minimum dividend of 25p in the £ is required for this creditor.

I agree with Melanie that Marbles are generally never a problem as long as you offer a minimum of 25p in the £ and put them in a better position than if you were to be made bankrupt.

That's a relief to hear Marbles are also one of my creditors. I was wondering how they were likely to vote

Hi Melanie, I was just wondering have you ever dealt with HFC as creditor. They gave us hell just before the acceptance of the IVA. It would be interesting to know whether they are really difficult to deal with or the IP. Thanks

Hi juditka

They blow hot and cold to be honest - but are usually very tight on expenditure within IVA documents. The other day I had them telling me that they would not allow more than £20 clothing budget for a family of three! Having said that, I have had no rejections (touch wood!) so we must be doing something right!
