So pleased for you and good luck with your journey to a debt free life. We had our IVA's approved on 4th January this year (with Mel and her team)and have just made our 4th payment so are already a third of the way through our 1st year - it really has gone very quickly. We are actually "enjoying" having to budget strictly - I update my monthly spreadsheet with all expenditure on a daily basis to make sure I keep on top of it - and have got to the point where I sometimes hate spending money!! We do treat ourselves occasionally though and our lives are so much better not having the daily thought of "Have we got enough money in the bank today to cover our bills/credit payments". It's such a relief.
It is really nice to read posts from my clients who are already in IVAs, seeing how their lives have changes as a result of not just the IVA, but also changes they have effected to bring their household budgets under control. With so much adverse comment about IPs and IVAs on this forum at the moment, it is good to see a few positive comments!
