If Dave and I were to get married (don't get excited, it's not happening yet!), would the fact that I am a discharged bankrupt affect his credit rating?

We've never had any links financially, and we never will do, but I was wondering if he would be affected in any way, as I'd hate to jeopardise his chances of getting a good mortgage deal, new car etc.

Ooh Skippy - should we read something into this post!!!

It is possible that your credit rating could affect Dave's application for credit in the future. But don't let this put you (or him) off.

I hear bells in the distance!

A long way in the distance sadly!!!

We have talked about it, but he's not keen at the moment - once bitten twice shy unfortunately!

I'll keep working on him though, and I'll definitely be posting on here to let you all know if it happens!

Please don't mention this at the FF - you'll scare him to death!!! I keep mentioning the M word, and he doesn't actually say no anymore, but unfortunately it's not been a yes either - yet!
