Thanks Skippy, Its a shame as he is a good dad and does have a heart of gold but its just his drinking, it really gets to me!!!

Cathy, make sure your daughter has a wonderful christmas and dont worry about anything till afterwards. Its nothing that cant wait a little while longer.

Hi Cathy I hope you feel a bit more up today - prior to our iva being approved we both hit the drink and had many stupid arguments which were way out of proportion - I know what people have said but if you love each other stick it out its been rough leading up to your iva it does get better eg youll both get better at coping oj a tight budget and in the end it becomes a laughable challenge hopefully

We are 2 and a half years roughly into our iva at the time ours was waiting approval my mam lost her leg at age 58 then died I was so ashamed I could not even afford flowers for the funeral but because Ive mever been a mnaterial type person a small boquet went almost unoticed i think - hard as id never tell anyone only my hubby and i are aware of our iva so i cant imagine how you feel

concentrate on Xmas and the little one and keep busy it helps a lot

I'm so sorry to hear that your going through a difficult time at the moment Cathy.It must be very hard for you,but as the others have said try and enjoy christmas with your daughter and then take things one step at a time.You've got the support of everyone on here,so look after yourselves,and try to stay strong..thinking of you[:)] xxx
