Hi

Just received couple of letters/statements from Max Recovery, indicating how much i owe on my credit cards ..Scary when I look at the figures ..but i'm hoping that this will all end soon .. & then i read that cases are not closing because of VAT . Feel low reading all this .. especially after all these years I want to close this chapter forever & possibly really soon :)

Hi, I had a max recovery letter the other week and just filed it away. Try not to get down, hopefully all will conclude timely. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Mine is being filed as well. There's not much come off it but as long as the creditors are happy then so am I.

Hi maya - are you with one of the companies not closing cases? It does seem a bit random - bit like the PPI aspect. But well done on gettin so far!1 I no longer look at the figures when I get the odd letter through. I just treat this like a consolidation loan (and I've had loads of those!!) for 5 years and ignore any other post.

Hi Maya

I too have just recieved a statment from Max Recovery there is no mention of VAT on mine, what it does state though is that all monies paid via IP will come of the balance without interest and late fees added. Once this Balance clears any monies paid with them go to pay these fees, let me just say let them try getting any more money out of me when IVA is signed off. They havnt got a hope in hell.

What I suggest is a quick call to your IP and run it past them, they will be able to tell you the pros and cons of it all.
