Hi
Just an update. I emailed Payplan today and have they have replied saying they can not really understand why MBNA keep writing to me as they have a proven debt and are aware of the IVA. They said they do send statement out but these letters did not seem like statements. Anyway they will sort it out for me so it should all be ok.

Thanks for all your support.

country girl payplan will sort this no problems.forget i mentioned courts your in very good hands.i just get very protective about people, and hate bullies, who spoil peoples weekends.if mbna have a administration problem regarding communication ,they should get it sorted and stop bothering, vulnerable people who are trying there best to sort debt and personal problems out.

Hi Country Girl,

Congratulations on your daughters graduation.

I think you already have some great advice here by just ignoring the letters as they have no legal standing.

However, if MBNA still continue to bother you then you can always raise a complaint on the grounds that they are failing to treat their customers fairly. This is an FSA requirement and if they still continue to fail on this measure, you can take it forward to the financial ombudsman.

Personaly, I would rather sit back, relax and laugh at their disorganisation and realise how lucky you are now your no longer an active customer.

Cheers

Andy

I totally agree with the above comments, ignore the letters and enjoy the priviledge an IVA gives you with regards to your creditors.

Many congratulations on your daughters graduation, you must be very proud of her achievments.

Regards BP

Just don't let them get to you.

Thanks for all your advice.

Yes we are very proud of our daughter. She is working very hard as a nurse and hopefully she will always have a job!

Best Wishes to everybody.
