Got a letter from MBNA yesterday, advising that they had referred me on to a credit reference agency.

Called them straight away to advise of IVA meeting on Monday, when the young man answered I advised him of this, with the attitude of AND he answered, yes we know its noted on the system!!

Do you think they do this to make us feel as crap as possible!!

No, Ang its just one internal communication is bad and one section doesnt know what the other is doing. I had a letter the day before yesterday from secure homes saying I could make an offer of 50% owed to them or they were going to sell the debt on and there would be more interest charges and collection fees. I took great joy in ringing to tell them I had been in an iva for 1 and a half years, and that they could not chrge anymore on the debt and that they should know about the iva, rather embarassed and apologised. So just shows after 18 months some records are not up to date.

I also owed MBNA and got letters that were rather firm but others that were very supportive and advising me to consider all options not just IVA route.Very confusing.Cat
