Hi, I'm 4 years into my IVA, wanted to see how to go about the remortgaging option to end Iva or full and final? My own IP didn't give me much time when I rang them, just wanted me off the phone, McCambridge Duffy! Wasn't impressed about this as the girl didn't want to explain much or see what was my best option, any help appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that you did not get the information you were looking for. I work for McCambridge, Duffy and feel free to contact me directly and I will do my best to answer any queries you may have.

It is possible that my colleague was unable to answer specifics on remortgages as we are not financial advisors and cannot give out that type of advice. However we can discuss your options and alternatives and you can then decide what is best and where to seek any other advice. I am happy to help if I can.

As mentioned, they can, and should, explain the mechanics but are not licensed to advise on the ins and outs of the remortgage itself, or which would be the better option.

If you have a specific question on the mechanics I am sure Michael will assist.or the question could be addressed here on the forum.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I'm sure Michael will be more than able to help in terms of the mechanics. Any specific mortgage advice would need to be provided by someone with the relevant Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) permission to do so. It's a highly regulated subject nowadays.
Specialist Mortgage Advisers. Highly Commended at the British Mortgage Awards.

For individual, confidential mortgage advice see my details under the IVA Experts or go to http://clients.theselectpartnership.co.uk/
