I have found it.

I shall ring them again in the morning and get my case officer to put in writing why i can not speak to the IP.

I must admit i am very worried about making a complaint incase my IP gets funny with me when it comes to sorting out the nitty gritty of the IVA's if my husband does get a pay out.

If you make a complaint start with the internal procedures and hopefully it will be resolved without the regulators becoming involved.

I am still waiting for a reply to my email requesting the details of the IP.
I think i may ask for a payment break for the next two months just so we can get ourselves sorted with any benefits etc because they will take a few weeks to be processed.

IF my husband did get a pay out if he is medically retired, i have worked out that me and my husband will owe payplan just over 7k each..this is what we would be paying if we carried on the payments for the next 4 years. So if we got say a 10k pay out do you think that would be a reasonable full and final offer to close down both iva's?
Considering due to my husbands health it is unlikely he will be in work for the foreseeable future.

That amount seems more than fair and hpefully is acceptable to creditors.

Thank you Michael, you have been a massive help!

Only one more question..sorry!

Could i write to the IP and make these offers myself or do i have to go through the case officer?

Write to the IP directly and copy the caseworker in on the letter or email. The caseworker can then deal with it but can ask the IP for help if need be and they would be aware of the issues.

Thank you, your advice has been amazing and i am truly grateful for your advice.

I have now requested a payment break and will wait for my husband to have his meeting before contacting the IP.
