Cheers all. I am so relieved! Had MBNA on the phone about 40 minutes before meeting warning me about IVA's and how I should do a DMP instead! Also told me they had not received anything from IP regarding IVA etc. Strange that as they had already voted in favour!
Must say, on the whole the people on the end of the phone have been very sympathetic and not pushy at all when I have mentioned the route I have decided to take. The telephone calls was the bit I was most dreading. Saying that, the auto dial systems are a nightmare!
What are MBNA playing at "warning you" about an IVA!!! It is time their insolvency team got a grip of their collections team and gave them some proper training. I get very fed up reading posts like this.
What are MBNA like? I think they are going for the title of 'most aggressive and bullying creditor', along with Mercers!

Congratulations Bergy [:)] and shame on MBNA [:(!]...wouldn't you like to tell the so and so that tried to warn you about IVA's that MBNA actually said YES [:D]
Thanks all. The guy from MBNA was probably the most pushy call that I have had yet. As I have said, all the others have been unexpectedly sympathetic!
I know these call centre peeps have targets but thought this particular guy was rather underhand in his methods. " If you fail any payments you will be made bankrupt " etc. Sad part is that some people must fall for this approach and back out of what essentially is a great solution for all parties concerned.
Still, good nights sleep was had (helped by a few bevies! First time in a long time too.
