6 of us here aswell, we have ducted heating so no radiators. We've got a tumble dryer but it costs so much money to run I try to just keep it to the socks and undies. Usually shove the towels and jeans in just to get them out the way aswell..... Wash day everyday in our house....

My eldest son, now 19, once told his friend's mam that I didn't have a washer. She asked how the washing got done, to which he replied, 'my mam hangs it on the line and lets the rain wash it!'. He was only about 5 at the time and we still laugh about [:D]. He also told someone who came to the house that I had went out and locked him in the house....I was in the kitchen! Oh kids and their imaginations...... [:)][:I]

Oh BoT I bet if you and Olympic Torch ever got together there would sure be laughter, maybe one frugal friends meeting someday.

Everybody enjoy your weekend whatever you decide to do.

We would love to get to a frugal friends meeting, O/T is my hero, his avatar is brilliant. Hope people don't take the posts too serious, just trying to make light of the situation we're all in. Laughter is the best medicine.

We will try and arrange something a little later on in the year - perhaps nearer to Birmingham to encourage a wider audience.

Wooooo woooo, sunshine & sausages. The BBQ has left the building, weather forecasters pah!!!!

W.Yorkshire (gods own country) bathed in glorious overcast with occasional spurts of sun. Had a lovely budget BBQ and even managed to get some washing dry.
Result....[8D]
