You do not necessarily need to have an IP located to you geographically, as a lot of the work can be done over the telephone and via e-mail, but if you feel more comfortable with seeing someone on a face to face basis, the website iva.com ought to be able to locate one for you - or you could use the "Find an IP" option on the Insolvency Service website.

i was offered a face to face but due to cirrcumstances it was beeter done over the phone.
