I cannot believe that these people would disturb their customers on a bank holiday. Absolutely appalling.

At least emails don't have to disturb you like the phone will. They were probably automated emails.

I'm still recovering from my flu, FD, which is why I have not been on much over the last couple of days. Don't worry about the creditors, you are days away from knowing the outcome of your case - keeping everything crossed for you from this end!

We absolutely did - and it is better than the "S" word as far as I am concerned! But you only need a really small portion as it is richer than Richard Branson!

How was Xmas for you Jan? I hope you are not missing things too much, and that you are not too uncomfortable!

So glad you liked it - it really is to die for!

Christmas hasn't been too bad as I haven't felt hungry even though the food smelt and looked wonderful. I've just vegged out. Not feeling too bad now either, wound is still a bit sore but nowhere near as bad as it was.

OMG I have just read your post Fergiedoggy, and cannot believe these people could have been harrassing me today.(See my post Phone Truce posted on Xmas eve.)I have 3 different cards, now all owned by Barclays/Mercers. When I call them,I insist we talk about all 3 accounts as one, otherwise I dread to think how many calls a day I would get. Honestly if you read my post It seems to work, I have not had any calls yet but I call them at least once a week to give them an update. I call all my other creditors as well. They always ask if I have called to make a payment, but I just laugh politely, and tell them I wish I could, but no. I am just calling to keep them informed as to how things are progressing. They will then put a halt on all calls for seven days, some 3 & some 10. It does not however stop the letters, and they will tell you this. Try it.
BEST FORM OF DEFENCE IS ATTACK!

Call them and explain your situation. Ask for Jennny, she is quite good. If you are really worried (they will always say door step collections are the next stage - just say what is the point in sending people round if you cannot pay anyway) then you can pay 1% of your balance plus £2 per month until your IVA is sorted. This is a temp payment plan.
