Totally, totally bored of it!

Yes, he was talented, but he hadn't done anything in a long time, and I think there are far more talented musicians out there. As for Madonna not being able stop crying......Perlease!!!!!!!!!

I cannot get upset over someone I don't know. I may be shocked depending upon who it is and how they died but that's it. My own family life is far more important.

I also think it's far more important to know things like whether Iran is likely to launch any missiles at us anytime soon.

The one news bulletin I heard on the radio today was purely about Michael Jackson - nothing else!

The world has gone mad!!!!!

Yes OK he was brilliant in his prime & I loved Moonwalker n Thriller growing up along with the album Thriller n Bad. But after that when he started to really mess with his face - just all down hill. Some songs he released in years after I kinda liked or disliked.
But after all the things that have risen over the past few years n that documentary that was done - I found him scary.
I really do hope after all this, n that those who are crying n upset, the things in the press n courts, that he was found innocent are really not true.
But come on .... get over it - yes we are all sad n sorry but its to much for any one to take. And its not going to stop cos they are gona re - release everything!!!
I cried over princess di - n Im not a royal fan - but it really did make me sad.
As Jan says ... whens that damn missile coming from Iraq?!?!?

I'm wondering what the government is up to - this must be a brilliant day to bury bad news!

Seriously, I can't understand the weeping and wailing mentality for people you don't know these days. Maybe I'm hard, but I cry if my family and friends are affected, not someone who I don't know.

One other thing - I saw on the news that MJ takes up 14 of the top 20 places on the Amazon chart. Why are people rushing to download or buy his albums now he's died? Surely if they were fans they would already have the albums? I'm a massive Bruce Springsteen fan and I buy his CDs when they come out!

Hey skippy! how are you?

My mate reckons it's all a scam

1)Advance ticket sales royalties, check!
2)Massive insurance policy by O2 in case he cancels, check!
3)Huge royalties from today's airplay and record sales, check!
4)Imposter at press conference, check!
5)Back catalogue in a trust fund for the kids, probably!
6)Walk away from all your debts, priceless!

I'm fine thanks, how are things going with you?

That had crossed my mind as well. According to some websites MJ was seen leaving the hospital disguised as a nun, or else he's living in a bunker with Elvis!

Who knows!

I can't understand why people get so worked up about it. He was a celebrity - he's died (as do we all in time - the only certain thing in this life) so get over it.

Someone else will come along to take his place.

I can't understand why people would suddenly rush to download his songs, or buy his albums.

If you are that big a fan, you should already have them.

Did anyone watch Eastenders last night - they even slipped MJ death into a chat between two characters - very weird & everyones gone mad!!!

Just had a horrible thought, just from thinking when Princess Di died - I hope we dont have to watch MJ funeral as well & have the whole world come to a stop for it.
That will drive me mad! n i cant help but think if those things in past years was true - then the world is supporting his actions.

I saw Eastenders - they did a bit of extra filming yesterday according to Digital Spy (really great for finding out what's going on in soapland!). You do wonder why on earth they did that!

I am sure we will have to suffer the funeral. Thank god we've got sky and will be able to watch something else. I think paint drying would be preferable. I didn't watch Di's funeral, didn't watch the
Queen Mother's funeral either - I have better things to do with my time.

I know what you mean about the world coming to a stop. It's just totally mad! I also agree about the past allegations about him - there's no smoke without fire and if you are totally innocent - why would you pay the other party off?

Im not keen on Royalty n it annoys me that we pay taxes to keep them in their surroundings etc.
I was only sad when Diana died cos I thought she was the one with the balls to stand up to them all.
I hav'nt even turned on the tv today, I hope its not like yesterday. I am still without Sky as still cant find 65quid to pay for them to come n put a new dish up - n Im really missing my extra channels!! So are the boys too!
Just waiting to get the cars MOT n service done next week n see if i got anything left from my car pot!!! x

Sky news was still showing about Michael Jackson - BBC did acknowledge that something else might have been happening in the world!

We've had Eurosport on for the Motogp so at least it isn't on there about it.

We don't like Royalty either, and whilst I wouldn't wish that sort of death on anyone, I didn't like her either.

That's disgusting that they are going to charge you that amount to put up a new dish. You would think that as you were already a subscriber they would have done it for free!

and what kind of parent would have accepeted a pay off if indeed he were guilty! If I even thought for a moment I had put my child in a position of possible abuse I would fight tooth and nail for justice not to see how much I could get in compensation. Let's just assume
we'll never know the truth.

Nobody HAS to watch the funeral if it's televised, there is an on/off switch that any of us are free to use or watch a DVD or come online to IVA.co.uk

Quite agree - we won't be watching it, but I do wish that I could be allowed to watch some news as well!

We will never know the truth, but I do agree that if my child had been abused I would not have accepted a pay off - I would want to protect other children from suffering the same fate.

I shall spend my time on here as usual.
