I am sure that we are told a lot of things during the process, but these things seem to pale into insignificance when your surrounding by debt and struggling to keep afloat. I know the gist was to pay as much as possible during the 5 years and try to re-mortgage the house. To be perfectly honest though, I was so greatful for the help, I think I would have signed anything (yes I know this is wrong, but when you're so stressed out, totally embarrassed and ashamed, you don't think straight). Thankfully, I was with a reputable company that saw me through. This is the reason that this forum is invaluable to people contemplating debt solutions. Like I have said before, wish I had known about this at site from the onset.

Hubby phoned other day as his mum is giving us monies for a full and final, anyway he asked about the ppi cliam and our ip said "it had nothing todo with us" and they hadn't received the monies as stated in the letter i sent them (kept a copy meself) but nothing seems to have been done about chasing it up, if what that ip said to us was correct.... Will this have an effect when our full and final (hopefully will be excepted, cant see why not as dividend more than they were going to get over the 5 years)is put forward?
Will the creditors want to see our income & expenditure form, etc before excepting full and final offer?
Just want to get everything together as muchly as possible, ip aint told us alot, just to get a letter from third party to send into them with our offer..
Thanks in advance for any replies... your all great [:)]

Hi, I would think a F&F in the region of remaining payments would be a good offer, unless there are extenuating circumstances which would persuade the creditors to accept less (redundancy etc).
