Hi there and welcome to the forum

Is there a reason why you are behind with your payments? Are you struggling to cope with paying everyone? Do you now have the ability to deal with the arrears? Which finance company is it?

Did it not show up on your bank statements that the payments hadn't been taken out?

How much have you paid on the agreement - this will determine whether they are able to reposses.

Which finance co is it - some act very quickly to protect the asset.
