Missed payments to my creditors

Hi, I think i know the answer to this question but im going to ask this anyway.. Two of my main creditors have given me a 10 day period to either pay them their money that im late with or recieve another letter from my Ip..

They have both receieved my proposal and thats ok, But Halifax mentioned they are just waiting on another letter to say they are dealing with my payments.. I take it this letter will be if the meeting is approved and all creditors will get a letter regarding it? Am I correct??

Also Once the 10 days are up this will be on the 25th.. Will I expect some nasty calls from then until the 29th do you think? "The 29th being the day of my meeting" Asking for payments?

And one more question i think i am correct on this arnt i, There is no need to pay them anything is there??

DOn't pay them a thing.

Refer them back to your IP even if you IVA is in the pre-acceptance stage.

Hi Clive,
The advice we were given was to make no further payments to any of the creditors which we didn't and we were fine. Just pass on any correspondance to your IP.

Not long to go now Clive, and the advice of the previous posters is spot on. Nothing is likely to happen during now and your creditors meeting, and this creditor is being a little silly in chasing you when they have copies of your proposals and are aware that a creditors meeting has been called.

Yeah not long now Melanie.. Counting down the days I also thought that it was a bit silly..

I'll just have to deal with the calls as they come until then.. To be honest since the proposal has be sent to my creditors they have not called up atall.. " Maybe i shouldnt say that" lol But i can see from after my 10 days which they said i had i will get some calls for the next four days until the 29th..

Oh well lets just see what the 29th brings...

I'ts actaully draining me out all this.. I dont think i could be any more worried/stressed than i already am.. I think i must be used to it now.. being unhappy as such.. oh well lol

I should look at it like this.. "The futures bright the futures IVA" lol Not orange lol

Im alright i wil be glad once everything is in order and on the way to making life a bit easier for myself..

Been back at work today since i burnt my hand.. Was off for two and half weeks.. god i stuggled.. It makes ya lazy kinda being at home doing nothing.. LOL Soon get into the swing of things again..

Ph well back in 30mins time.. Soon be the 28th and 29th for our meetings..
