Surely your supervisor was not at Court during your creditors meeting? There seems to be some confusion here, and I really do suggest a chat with your IP directly to clear up some of these misunderstandings. Which firm are you with?

yes mel, when she phoned me i could hear traffic, she said they'd had there meeting and i have to make a decision write away, but i explained i needed to talk to my husband first, so she gave me till the end of the day, although i have no proof that she was there, i have to believe what she says, i did ask her that as it was only a 15min drive, why we were not asked to attend, ive never done this before, and id not know what to expect.
my IP company is simple debt solutions, and the IP on the court documents is Martin Maloney, but when searching for him on the web, he came up working for a company that just dealt in buisness.

You should not have been pressurised into making a decision that day - your IP could have adjourned proceedings by up to 14 days to enable you to fully consider the implications of any creditor modifications, and to importantly discuss this with your husband.

And you should not have been discouraged to attend your creditors meeting if you wanted to be there. We are always delighted when a client actually comes along, although I have to say this is quite rare!

Hi moneypenny,

So sorry you seem to be having a tricky time with your IVA company. Take Melanie's advice and make sure you speak to your IP.

Let us know what they say about your newly submitted I&E form too.

xx
