Hi

Can someone please advise what would happen if i have missed out a creditor in error and forgot to include in my initial list of crditors. Iva is now approved? Do creditors continue to check your credit file once in a iva? I don't really want to mess things up as everything is now in place.

The debt is for £600, which I could kind of pay back in a couple of months as have saved some money when stopped paying creditors.

Any advise much appreciated.

If the debt was excluded due to a genuine error, then they can be retrospectively included so long as they had a valid claim at the time the IVA was propsed and receive a dividend alongside your other creditors.

I would ring your IP and have the creditor added to the IVA. Its only a small debt so shouldnt make a lot of difference.

Notify your IP who will in turn notify this other creditor who actually is bound by the IVA not withstanding that he never had notice of it.
