Postmans just been with a load of letters for me and hubby:-

My first WIPE OUT YOUR IVA DEBT ARRANGEMENT letter, came in a handwritten envelope (thought it was an invitation)

my second was car tax reminder

my third was for blood donor

and lastly the halifax inviting me to apply for a credit card!!

why can't i have nice letters.. instead of people wanting something from me, or trying to give me something I don't want!!
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

We're the same Pixie - it's just house insurance at the moment, and not a lot of that.

I do keep getting letters begging me to buy the latest slimming product!

I prefer no post to all the nasty letters we used to keep getting though.

We used to hate Saturdays, pre IVA, it always seemed to be the day the bills and threatening letters arrived.

Yes OT - I think they time these things deliberately. Why should we enjoy our weekend?

It's always the way as well that you get a letter you need to deal with straightaway on a Saturday and phone up only to find that the office closed about 5 minutes before your call. You then have to stew until Monday

Hi Ang, I also got a mixed post bag. For those of you with kids, you probably got the same letter as me today. A HUGE payrise from Mr Brown for the priviledge of having children (child benefit), must equate to about £1 per month or something ? Wonder what I can spend it on!!!! Kazzy x

Well I got a horrible one of Lloyds TSB saying:-

"It would appear that these accounts are currently a low priority to you and you have little intention to repay your debt"[:(!]

They have had two letters off me and one off Melanie......I AM not ignoring you TSB!!!!!!!

Viki X

Mine too, but fortunately just under the 75% otherwise IVA wouldn't have been possible!

Lloyds TSB were good to me too. I had a credit card with them, £2000 debt and they accepted reduced payments with no problem right up to my IVA. They were the only ones who refused!

Lloyds TSB were our major creditor.
To be fair they were one of the better ones to deal with, didn't have any bother with them and they voted yes at our meeting.
