Just a letter from Saga for me today - I hate being reminded that I'm fast becoming an old git! Still, it's better than all the other mail I used to get.

Today I had an letter from my IP re letter people mare being sent re mis sold IVA's but in the letter was a paragraph saying that creditors are being sympathetic if people need to reduce their payments due the rising cost of living. I think I will write and see if I can get my reduced slightly I am paying £480 a month on a £34,000 debt and with the rising costs of food and petrol finding each month more difficult.

I have been invited to a christening and a 2nd birthday next week and don't have any money for a present, I have had to give my dad an IOU for fathers day. But still only 21 months to go!!

Have a good weekend everyone

Todays was a fathers day card and a reminder from Comet that my dishwasher is fast approaching 12 months old (was it really only 12 months ago that I could spend money?!!!!!!!) and do I want to continue cover.

Yes I agree. The mail is getting a lot less and a joy to read and look forward to. It is also nice to answer the phone.
It seamed to me they knew when to send a letter to you, to upset you for the rest of the day. Example 7 days to payup from date letter posted, recieved xmas eve leaving you three days to act on letter. Telephone calls from one company about 5 per day at one point. The people dealing with my IVA sent them threatning letters something to do with trades description act and would force them to close, Dont know if they could but was a good letter and seamed to work with most of them.

Hi All

Our mail consisted of a letter from Blair, Oliver and Scott re halifax card despite been promised all calls and letters were on hold for 30 days, one form Barclaycard, one from MBNA, one from A + L, and one from Argos. We have told all of these people that we are looking at a DMP for a while.

I have contacted another IP company to help us as i am not convinced we are been advised well.

Regards
