And what would be the point in that? If you're in the last month, you're hardly likely to want to change payments then are you?
Think I'll stick with O2.
Having spoken to them it all boils down to money. They dont want low spenders any more. This way they keep on getting say a extra £75.00 pp by not letting anyone downgrade to the last month of their contract. If the person then chooses to look for a cheaper deal else ware they are not bothered as they only want the high spenders now.
Where would we be without them? I resisted having one for years and years until Mrs Size got me one as an xmas present so I could hardly complain. Clever girl my Mrs, she can now keep tabs on me!!
I am with orange on a pay as you go and top up by £10 per month, I don't make that many calls so it covers that side but I do get 300 free texts which suits me fine.

I've stuck with my Vodafone contract as they report to the credit reference agencies, and every little helps!
I get 225 free minutes and 250 texts, and if I use my phone off peak I only use 3 minutes of my allowance.
Saying that I don't actually use it very often - my phone wasn't working last week, and when Dave asked me how long it hadn't been working for I had to admit I didn't know as I hadn't used it for over a week!
I am on a contract £35 per month with 600 minutes and 1000 texts and unlimited web access. Don't use them all, but at least they are there and I don't have to worry about running out or having to top up.
I like a contract as well because I can upgrade my phone, and I do love to have the latest phone (sad person that I am!)

I like having a new phone, but the only problem is I never know how to use it! I can make a phone call, take a picture and send a text but that's it. I've got video calling on my phone, but I can't see me ever using it!
I don't use mine to it's full capacity. I have video calling as well and have never used it. Don't know if half the people I phone have the same capability!
Wouldn't want to scare anyone by video phoning anyway - put them right off their food that would![:D]

I'd probably use it friends, but certainly not anyone else.

Not wishing to tell people how to you their phones. I use video calling quite a bit. Its nice to see the family when I am work and have a few spare moments. To use video calling you and the person you are calling need to be in a 3G coverage area. Video calling is quite expensive around 40p pm. As far as I remember only 3 and O2 do video calling bundles all have them in their inclusive allowance. Having said that I am with Orange and managed sometime ago to get a trial bundle added on to my account which was set to never run out.
But yes its good fun to see the person you are talking to.

Looks like I'll have to call whoever, I'm sure I get that in my contract
