Seems a bit like where I work. We see our big boss sometimes, and all he does is poke his head round the door, says hello and disappears again!

Sorry you are having so many problems Linda. I hope your job is safe.

We're lucky in our department, even our Principal has a presence, sometimes I'd rather they didn't.

I hope your job is safe too Linda.

We did actually have the Chief Constable poke his head round the door a couple of weeks ago - most unusual!

Hi Pog 1234

Mobile Contracts are a nightmare in a IVA.
Your Home phone wont be a problem as I have switch from BT to Talk Talk and had no problems.
I would of loved to of switched to the sky deal on phone/internet/& line rental + calls but its not in our area!
I know Talktalk get alot of bad press but Im impressed, everything done when it said it would be & internet running better than being on BT (was getting 1mg BT now get 4mg TT) & I get my line rental/broadband & free local calls anytime & rest of the UK free evening & wkends for just 17.49 a month! Been with TalkTalk 2 moths now & have to say all good! Check your broadband speed by doing an internet speed test & see who comes up best.
I was paying BT option2 for over 3 years for "upto" 20mg & was only ever getting 1mg. Very unfair as they COULD of put me down to option1 as I was not getting what I was paying for! hop it helps x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Good luck if you ever need to call the Talk Talk call centre Lyns - apparently they make BT look like geniuses!

Seriously, I'm glad you're happy with Talk Talk - it's a pain when you don't get a full range of services in your area. And you also have to try and watch what they sell you...

When we moved I phoned Virgin and asked how much their service would be (I would rather chew drawing pins than use them, I just wanted something to play off against Sky) and they went through their charges with me. I then asked at what point did they introduce digital in this area (I used to work for them) and the guy went away for a bit. When he came back he said that I could have analogue TV and the phone, but no digital or broadband!

If I hadn't have worked for them they could have booked me an install and I'd have no doubt had all sorts of problems getting rid.

New home hub arrived today, won't be able to sort it until tomorrow night probably as I'm at work tomorrw.

We'll see how this one goes on.

I'm keeping a diary now as to when we have to keep resetting the hub. If the bad service continues, they will be getting it both barrels!

Jan - IF you can get sky for everything I would go with them when your renewal comes up ;-) BT can be a pain cant they!
There real pain when you want to leave almost as many calls as you get from a creditor chasing you!!!
I was only off line for a matter of hours I dont know how long sky take but TalkTalk only had me off for max of 3 hours.

Skippy - I have had dealings with the call centres n there not to bad! Only annoying thing they give english names to the there employees whom are clearly not english!
Plus I was with TalkTalk years ago before going to BT & have a Number for a call centre in the UK - one I should'nt have ;-)
And there's a bonus of having Carphone warehouse staff to go too as TalkTalk are with them. I had a small problem with my first bill n the staff in the shop were most helpful n got it sorted straight away.

Not sure, but if you don't have to have Sky TV you will probably find that it is more expensive.

It should tell you on their website.

I will say one thing for the BT call centres - they don't give their staff English names.

I think you have to have Sky TV to get Sky Talk, but it's well worth it.

I think you are probably right Skippy.

I shall be swapping to the phone and broadband next year.
