Unless you try, you won't know. If you mention you were a previous customer you might be ok.

I returned to Sky this year around 4 months ago with no problems whatsoever, I got their broadband, the Sky Talk and their basic Sky package, works out cheaper than I was paying for landline and internet. They fitted me up no problem
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

This is a hot topic, and for my tuppence halfpenny worth I am still with BT Broadband and never had a problem, but friends tell me that both Virgin and Sky are excellent as well as being cheaper than BT - but my motto is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" so I am sticking with them.
I also cancelled my Orange mobile phone contract 18 months ago as it was so very expensive and I had the little matter of an IVA coming up, so I switched to o2 on PAYG and found them much better, and it only costs me around £20 a month and that's with an unlimited internet access package on my phone - I was paying Orange 3 to 4 times more than that a month for blinking ages - never again!!

We are now on our 5th new home hub - connection keeps dropping out, can't use the broadband phone a lot of the time. We can be in the middle of a conversation and it will just go off. I get fed up of India telling me they can't fix the problem so they'll send a new hub out.

Roll on next August when I can change.

I'm the same with Vodafone Lesley. I thought about changing but I'm happy with them to be honest.

Ronald, if you've got a contract and are thinking of changing you might have a problem while the IVA is still on your credit file.

Unfortunately Tracey, we have to send them back!

Ronald I doubt you will get a contract with O2 whilst your IVA is still on your file,

When I was thinking of changing to PAYG I considered Tesco as they treble your top up.

I know O2 are quite stringent with credit checks - they won't even let people have the rolling monthly contract.

I would never have pay as you go. I've always had a contract as I love the latest phone and I like the extras I can get.

Hello Ronald - Yes, o2 are great and a bargain really on PAYG - also whenever you top up they give you top up 'treats' whereby they text you a code which you type into the box on their website, and then you go fishing for ducks ........ !! Whichever one you hook reveals a prize of free air time, free texts, with better prizes like Wii's, and cars etc: Bad luck with the BT Kallis - I must be just lucky !!! Some of my mates are telling me to download 'Skype' then I can have free calls via my broadband connection to anywhere in the World !

I used to have Skype when my friend was in Brazil and I used to talk to him every week, it was really good.

I think Skype is good if you do have friends abroad - you can call them for nothing.

I've been with O2 on contract for years. I think they are great.
