We pay £5 a month to have all our calls free with Sky, including calls to a lot of countries abroad.

I don't need to speak to anyone abroad fortunately. I get anytime calls with BT but I can't remember what I pay!

It's best for us as hubby is at home during the day and that is when the phone gets used the most.

Our home phone is hardly ever used and we all just look at each other if it rings...I need it for the broadband and won't say I never use it but never make calls unless it's an 08 number.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We have two phone numbers - one is the original house number and the other the broadband talk number. The latter is the one we use most often, but we have a phone plugged into the other line and does come in handy when we have power cut and the broadband one is off!

Plus we do still get calls on it.

Always use the landline when we are at home.

I changed my phone and Broadband from BT to Virgin Media as we had so many problems with BT which was exactly the same as those other disgruntled customers on WATCHDOG charging me £200 plus £55 VAT for fixing there own Box.
There Home Hub was Rubbish and i was getting nowhere near the recommended Broadband Speed and the Hidden Charges were a Total RIP OFF!!.
i am 22 months into an IVA and decided to change to VIRGIN MEDIA and i passed the Credit Check no problem as i think it is a general check to see if you have a Bank Account and are in full time Employment.
My Bills are Now Far more Cheaper and the Broadband is much more faster than BT's .
I am on the very Basic Package with Virgin Media and i find them more cheaper and loads better.

BT must have been banned if Virgin are an improvement!

All I would say is keep a very close eye on your bills as they are notorius for being inaccurate.

Whilst I am fed up with the broadband constantly going down, I cannot fault speaking to the customer services (Indian or not) as they do their best to sort me out.

I have had no hidden charges, if my hub is a problem they send me a new one, as they have just done.

Whilst I will change next year as I don't like the service, I can't complain about them sorting me out so far.

Hi
I am very happy with Sky and have always found them very helpful on the phone, usually speak to someone in Scotland. BT always kept ringing us up, something Sky never do.

Once I am clear of this contract, I will be changing.

Unfortunately I've got to wait until August next year!
