Thanks David,
But you may regret saying 'keep the questions coming' to me, I'm sure I'll drive you all mad!

It is the mix of people here that is so good, and I for one, and I'm sure I'm not alone, really do appreciate the time you give to us when we're in our panics or the depths of despair!

P x
May 2015 - Completed!!

David my turn to drive you mad. I tried remortgage "too old"", tried interest only request for a bit because of IVA proposal "too old", tried extend mortgage for 5 years to help with creditors "too old" - rent - cant - there arn't any. That is what is worrying J and in addition her mother will have to come to live us in the not too distant future- no house she cant. Mortgage 48.6% of net income - HSBC major creditor 40%. They have not got the best of reputations for being helpful from what I've on here

My mortgage and secured loan are more than 50% of our outgoings, HSBC were one of our biggest creditors and we had no problems at all.

Understand elv5 - but Melanie does and you'll have no problem as Melanie's firm (as is mine) are acceptable to HSBC on any dividend that is affordable and is the best that is available based on the facts of your case. So tell the missus nothing to worry about.

A perfect point (again) David made there, its not ALL about what the creditors will want etc, a lot of it depends on the working relationship the IVA company has with the creditors as well.
F&F Accepted on 12th March 2015!
Completion Cert arrived 26th March 2015!

In another post you asked about my priest - I said in my reply his best friend is a Jew known each other for years. The do get some odd looks when walking in the street- I,ve met his friend - great chap - a pathologist - would help anyone. The PP gets him involved in all sorts of things and he does so willingly.

Glad to hear that - see debt problems affect all across all religions - any help from anyone from any persuasion is wanted at all times. Good on you and your PP seems to be a great guy.

Glad you approve David - religion should not be a bar to friendship and co-operation. Your religion and mine have a very long history - we just have to understand what brings us together NOT differences
