Although I don't remember the 70's very well (I was born in 1975) I do like a lot of 70's music, although I must admit I'm more into 80's music.
At the moment I'm listening to the Saw Doctors - if anyone has heard of them I'll be amazed and VERY impressed!
I love Meatloaf and I went to see him earlier this year and I was very disappointed - the sound was awful and I could hardly hear the mighty Mr Loaf.
Other than the Saw Doctors my favourite band is the Pogues - Shane McGowan writes the most amazing lyrics and 'Fairytale of New York' is the best Christmas song ever, and one of the best songs for any time of the year ever written!
On the subject of funeral music I was thinking along the lines of 'Call the Fire Brigade'...
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
