Hi,

I am not sure about the allowances, but as this has slipped down the list, I'll bump it back up again so one of the technical experts can see it.

Is this for an IVA or bankruptcy - and how many people are there in your house?

I don't think that you will be allowed anything for cigarettes - but you can always buy these from the allowance you will be allowed to retain.

Thanks Melanie - but its my husband that smokes, and only him that is earning.

Apart from the cigarettes, would you say everything looks ok ?

Everything else looks fine - although it is not my decision of course at the end of the day. You can ask for money to be set aside for birthdays and Christmas, but whether the OR will allow that of course is down to their own discretion.

It really depends upon your own individual circumstances, and should only be "benchmarked" to a certain degree.
