why do they not just check the insolvency register and they will see it there in black and white and can't argue with that.

One of my creditors was persistant (not to this extent though) and they kept ringing me until my name appeared on the register but were good in stopping straight away and I never had another call.

Get them to check it on the phone, they sound charming

Good news today received a call from my IP stating they have called Moorcroft and of course they apologised to my IP and they have updated their system. Funny isn't that they back down when you have the weight of your IP behind you. Excellent service from the IP. I still reported Moorcroft to the FO as you kindly informed me to do. Watch this space.

Forgot to tell you that I got a letter today from the FO saying they would look at my case but there is a back log. Is that a back log from Moorcroft complaints or other people??? I wonder. I would love it if I got compo, I never win anything.[:o)]

Hi, glad i looked in google for this company (Moorcroft) and everybody has the same impression as me...they are absolute vultures and rude with it, and when you TRY to explain your situation they just say "it's your fault you're in this possition" which makes you feel worse. I dont have a IVA or anything like that, can they make you pay or are they just trying to use scare tactics.

They rang me last night at 8.30pm, for goodness sake i was eating so i just let the phone ring.

Any inf on this company or suggestions are gratefully received.

Just wanted to welcome you to the Forum. Can't offer much help as new to all this myself, but hopefully an Expert will be along soon to advise. Are you trying for an IVA at the moment?

Haven't had any dealings with Moorcroft but having hassle with Creation and Mercers at the moment so can sympathise with you, they usually call anytime up to 9pm as well.

Moorcroft sound even worse than Mercers!

I take it Kepper that you are struggling to pay your debts? Correct me if I'm wrong. Are you thinking of an IVA or debt management?

They are all there to get money from you at the end of the day. If you have missed payments then they are entitled to demand the money from you. What people object to are the lengths they will go to to get it!!!!!!

Most of them start at 8am and go on until 9pm, but some people have had calls both earlier and later than that. They will not let up.
