Someone pinch me I can't believe the good things that are happening at the moment.

First of all bankruptcy on Wednesday so debt free from now on.
Then dad's results from the hospital gave us good news.

The other good thing happened yesterday. My sister-in-law, 2 nephews, and nephew's girlfriend came round for a bbq. My sister-in-law bought the food so that was good. Then my nephew he is 25 this year told us he had just proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes.

I just can't believe all this good news.
Hugs

Susie, that's brilliant! So pleased about your dad, that must be a huge weight off your mind!

Great news about your nephew as well. They say good things happen in threes - you still have one to come! Lets hope it's something like a lottery win

I think getting dismissed from my job is the best thing that has happened in a long time. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have even considered bankruptcy. I also wouldn't have been able to claim carers allowance for dad which I've been awarded. This has then enabed me to claim income support rather than jobseekers allowance so no panic to find a job. I can spend more time looking after dad and myself. I think I have used up all my good luck and if there is any left you guys need to share in it.

Fantastic news.

I too lost my job and found that the carers allowance and IB carers premium has really taken the pressure off.

Good luck, its great that you are feeling so positive.
