I pay for my household bilsl by Direct Debit and buy most of my food on my debit card and my statements tell me which card paid for it (joint account) and where and what time. You can even tell the difference between the store and their petrol station!!!!

1964 ALISON I think you have hit it on the nail. I feel that we all bend over backwards when in a IVA and most of the reason is a guilt trip and that this clouds our minds, despite what good thinking advisors say here remeber ita business for them-sorry but thats it in a nutshell, dont think they are doing us favours!!!
The living costs for us in a IVA are at time very low and in fact no matter how well you do the thoughts sometimes about doing the right thing to the creditors does slowly lose its appeal when hunger strikes or basic aspects of life are put on hold. I dont agree with the vast majority of people here and how they talk so highly of the individuals who post here-BUSINESS IS BUSINESS !!
