polar - I recently gained a mortgage post IVA through a broker. If you want his details let us know on here and we will email them to you with his name and contact - he has been excellent throughout and has full knowledge of IVA's so is sympathetic towards your needs as well !

Hello there.
After months of researching on the internet for a mortgage post IVA I have come across your forum and can see a glimmer of hope!!
I completed my IVA in September 2010 (3years early). The IVA will still be on file until August 2013 but I am desperate to get back onto the mortgage ladder. I have never been in a better position, with no debt and £25000 deposit. Can someone please send me the details of the broker who can help with post IVA mortgages?
Many thanks

Hi and welcome.

If you click on the 'Ask an Expert' link on the left hand side of the page, you will find Ryans contact details - he is off forum until after the New Year though I believe so it might be a few days before he contacts you.

Hi,

I am also looking for a mortgage, I completed my iva August 2011 early but it stays on my record until 26/02/2013.

My parents will assist with a deposit but I need to sort my mortgage, please can an admin pass on my email address?

Thanks
IVA competed 17th August 2011 and completion cert received from Grant and Thornton April 25th 2012

Hi, Ryan"s details can be found under the Ask a Question link on the left hand side of the page. You can contact him directly from there although I believe he is on holiday at the moment.
