Hi
i'm just after a bit of advice.
My mortgage is due to change 03/08/08 due to my fixed rate ending. they have agreed to change me to another fixed rate however my mortgage will increase by £200.00.

when my iva was set up this change was taken into account and they agreed my first 3 iva payments should be £600 then go down to £395 for the following 57 months which is fine.

the problem i've got is. my 3rd £600 iva payment will be due 31/08/2008 but my mortage lender will take their new payment 01/09/2008 so for either my iva or mortgage payment i'm going to be £200 short as they overlap the same payment period.

what can i do? i'm panicking now wondering where i'm going to get £200 from. as i don't want to miss either payment.

Speak to your IP. It could be possible to miss one months IVA payment to cover the mortgage and then tag it on to the end of the IVA.

hi i wouldnt worry speak to your ip he can lower the standing order by this amount for one month and you can either catch up within the year or added to the end[:)]

thanks guys i'll see what they say. its only the £200 i'll struggle for and i could probably make that back up over the year as you say, if they'll do it.
i just don't want them to think i'm being awkward when i'm only 2 months into it.

Connie, I'm sure they won't think you're being awkward, it's looks pretty straight forward to me. Good luck, X
