A great finish and you are over the line now. Once that certificate reaches you and you're off the IR you'll be zooming past the line. Glad it's almost over for you.

A great start to a New Year.

Just another update.. Got my C of C on the 8th December and have been chasing up my removal from the IR .. However to my dismay they said my record is still current & they have not received notification from my IP supervisor of successful completion of my IVA .. Anyhow anyone in the same position can send an email to with your C of C to customerservices.eas@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk - this will speed up the process and allow them to update the insolvency service database to reflect that your IVA is now complete. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year !!

The chances are anyway that you will stay on for three months. Some people are removed sooner but others have to wait the full three months.

Hi ,
It was a Customer Service Manager at the insolvency register who suggested that I send my C of C to the customerservices.eas@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk .. So I am more hopeful of a quicker removal than the 3 months

Worth a try but they do have three months to remove your details and your IP has no control or say over this.

Ours were removed within two weeks but I know Foggy had to wait three months even when he phoned and told them he knew someone who had gone within a short space of time and they said that wasn't possible!!

Hi Shaun
I have access to 2 Credit agencies at the moment .. one with Noddle and one with Experian .. I have 2no negative mentions - The fact that I am still currently on the IR and I have a default from SRO holdings dated 30/12/20009 that was originally an MBNA debt that was included on my IVA .. However this should drop off my credit file at the end of this month because its 6 years ..

Ok that's great. At least you have everything else lined up and in order which should help once the IR finally update their records and give you the best options. Incorrectly registered defaults can often cause an issue but, as you say, this will drop off at the end of the month. Make a nuisance of yourself!

Hi everyone, I've just got notification from the Insolvency Service that my account has been updated and I'm off the register !!!
If you dont want to wait the expected 3 months it does pay to send your completion paperwork in to them - its took less than a week for mine to be updated ! ... Heres the email for anyone else wanting to follow suit - CustomerServices.EAS@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk
Merry Christmas everyone & a prosperous New year !
